May is… Share a Story Month!
The Little Compton Community Center and Brownell Library are partnering to present to you “Share a Story Month,” a month of celebrating storytelling, books, and literature!
Youth Storytelling Challenge
Little Compton children aged K-8 are invited to participate in our 2nd Annual Children's Storytelling Challenge. Children will be provided with a blank book to write and illustrate a story based in Little Compton. The rest is up to your imagination!
Submissions are due by Sunday, May 18th at 10AM.
Jurors will announce the winner at the closing reception of the book festival.
Soliloquies, Sonnets, and Scenes

Join us at the Brownell Library on May 10th at 5:30 pm for live renditions of some of Shakespeare's most popular scenes. A monetary donation of your choosing is welcome at the door but not required.

Immerse yourself in the world of local literature at the Little Compton Book Festival. Explore stories new and old, meet celebrated authors, and participate in thought-provoking discussions. A celebration of the written word for bookworms and curious minds alike.
