This course is a basic introduction to theatre arts and acting technique. It is designed to develop the ability to play dramatic action honestly and believably, using realistic/naturalistic material. Course work includes games, exercises, and improvisations exploring awareness, relaxation, observation, the senses, voice, and physicality. Students should dress comfortably and be prepared to move. Whether you are a first timer or more experienced, join us for this fun and informative class to learn some tips and tricks from professional working actors from Watermelon Alligator theater company who have many years of experience in bringing creative collaboration to the field and adapting these classes to accommodate a fully inclusive experience for students of all levels of experience and abilities.
